'Agatha Mae Williams Young was born February 27, 1931 the daughter of the late Bro. Homer Williams and Lyda Mae Grear Williams. She departed this life, Saturday evening, at her home in the Frazer community.
On December 25, 1952 she united in marriage with her husband of 49 years, John Leslie Young, who passed away January 26, 2002.
Surviving is her daughter, Naomi Ruth and her husband Lance Duncan; grandsons; Michael and wife Shady Stewart, Benjamen Duncan, Brian and wife Julia Duncan, Jordan and his wife Justine Duncan; great grandchildren: Bentley, Damien, Hensley Mae and Alaina Stewart. Roxy and Liam Duncan and twins, Noah and Mason Duncan.
She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and VBS for many years. Agatha was retired from the Wayne County School System and taught in a two-room school and consolidated elementary schools for thirty plus years.
After retirement, she enjoyed working with her church, raising grandsons and working in her flowers.',
