'Alberta Keith New was born February 19, 1940 the daughter of the late Romer and Melda Keith. She departed this life, Tuesday morning, January 12th reaching an age of 75 years.

On October 5, 1955 she united in marriage with Brother Delbert Ray New who passed away March 14, 2004. To this 48-year union nine children survive: Phillips and Susie New of White, Georgia; Regiel and wife Freda New; Sheila and her husband Winfred Godsey; Kenneth and his wife Nancy New; William and Susan New; Tilda and husband Rudy Branscum; Delbert Jr and his wife Lisa New; Hilda and husband David Rose and Steve and his wife Amy New all of Wayne County.

Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and two brothers: Elton and his wife Glenna Keith of Stevensville, Michigan and Bro. Clifton and wife Ella Ree Keith of Somerset.

Preceding her in death are her siblings: Barbara Kidd, Wendell, Ferlin, Curtis and Haskell Keith and her infant sister, Valerie Keith.

Alberta accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and became a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member at the time of her passing. She was dedicated and supportive to her husband\u0027s ministry and to the Lord throughout her Christian Life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
