'Allene Kindrick Coffey Hunter, age 93 was born November 28th, 1918 in Wayne County the daughter of the late -Lem- G.W. Coffey and Ida Harris Coffey. She departed this life Friday morning, July 27th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

On October 31, 1947 she united in marriage with James Alvin Garfield Hunter who passed away December 30th, 2000.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: Sarah Williams; George Samuel; Rufus and Charles Coffey.

Mrs. Hunter is survived by several nieces; nephews other relatives and friends.

In the 1940 Mrs. Hunter began her walk with the Lord becoming a member of the St. John AME Church of Monticello, Kentucky. Her walk took her to the St. Andrews AME church in Detroit Michigan, and while she resided there , that walk took her to the Holy Land in March of 1977.
