Alma "Jeannie" Thompson was born November 12, 1958, and departed this life Sunday, April 7, 2024, reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Ellis and Alma Pauline (Daniele) Godsey.

She is survived by 2 sons, Tim and Larry Thompson; 2 daughters, Amanada Thompson and Mandy Linder; 3 brothers, Buck Godsey, Charlie Brown, and Pat Garrett; 2 sisters, Tink Paige, and Lena Dishman; 7 grandchildren, Destiny Linder, Taylor Thompson, Logan Davis, Anthony Thompson, Dayton Thompson, Cody Clingerman, and Tye Thompson; 1 great grandchild, Elijah Daffron; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Jackie Denney; 1 brother, Coco Mo; and 2 sisters, Laurina Piercy and Masel Baker.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 5 PM – 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
