Obituary
'Alpha Spradlin, age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 21st at the Golden Years Nursing Home. She was born September 11th, 1923 to the late Ewell and Lillie Kidd Bell.
Also preceding her in death are her four infant children, her sisters Vena Gregory, Evalee Spradlin, Gladys Phillips and her brothers Hershell, Noble, Reynold, Garmin, Ralph and Gene Bell.
Surviving are her two children Mary Wilson and husband Larry and Danny Spradlin. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Amelia Devereaux and husband Steve, Veronica Kendrick and husband Chris, Katie Spradlin and William J. Wise and four great grandchildren; Brooke and Zane Devereaux, Kaelyn Kendrick and Nicholas Wise.
Alpha had worked as a cook for over eighteen years at the Rocky Branch School, feeding many children in that time.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a member at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for many years.
Visitation:
Friday Sept. 24 from 5 to 8 PM in the chapel.
Funeral:
Sat. at 1 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church

Spradlin Cemetery',
