'Anna Jane Gregory, age 70 was born November 29, 1939 the daughter of the late Ellis and Ethel Davidson Ragan. She departed this life, Monday, October 26th at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

On September 6, 1957 she united in marriage with her husband of 52 Years, Joe Ellis Gregory who survives. To this union three children survive; Connie Hicks of Monticello, David Gregory of Whitley City and Kevin Gregory of Monticello.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Melissa Perdue, Brian Hicks, Adam Hicks, Lucas Gregory, Sarah Gregory, Kayla Jo Gregory and Matthew Gregory; great-great grandchildren, Daniel, Lydia and Taylor Hicks; her sister, Jean Abbott and brothers, Jack and Ralph Ragan.

Anna Jane had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a member of the Canada-s Creek Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
