Annette Denney, age 91, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 26 ^th , 2021 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.

She was born September 25, 1929 in Wayne County, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Morehead and Elsie Rosa Catron Jones.

Along with her husband, Bro. Oral Denney, she is survived by three sons; Danny Ray Denney, Mark Allen Denney, and Thomas Oral Denney, one daughter; Brenda Joyce Upchurch, eleven grandchildren; Scott Denney, Misty Truitt, Ben Upchurch, Michele Upchurch, Anthony Upchurch, Marcie Leady, Christopher Denney, Chad Denney, Kelli Shelton, Leslie Denney, and Matthew Denney, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two half-brothers; Clarence Jones and Henry Jones, one sister; Mary Jane Reagan, three half-sisters; Carrie Bridgeman, Neva Reagan, and Lou Blevins, and one grandchild; Joshua Paul Denney.

Annette had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the First Church of God in Frankfort, Kentucky at the time of her passing.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30 ^th , 2021 from 11am until 2pm at the First Church of God.  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30 ^th , 2021 at 2pm at the First Church of God with Bro. Christopher Denney, Sister Leslie Denney, Bro. Darrell Bunch and Bro. Byron Creech, officiating.  Burial will be in n the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
