'Arnold Morrow, age 89, was born in the Meadow Creek community of Wayne County, October 27, 1925 the son of the late Virgil and Nancy Mae Davis Morrow and the step son of the late Hattie Morrow. He passed away Wednesday, April 1st at the Gene Waddle Hospice Center in Somerset.

On October 4, 1947 he united in marriage with Oleta Jean Ramsey who passed away June 9, 1988. To this union three children were born: Deanna Hammond, David Morrow and Danny Morrow.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Shawn Morrow, Stephanie Franklin and Angela Mansfield with a great grandson, Johnathan Mansfield.

He also preceded in death by his siblings; Eva Bell Morrow, Marie Dodson and an infant brother.

Arnold was a Purple Heart Veteran of the Second World War. He was employed for many years by the Wayne County Board of Education. Arnold had accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of the Rogers Grove Baptist Church.

Friday from 5 to 9 and Saturday until 10 at the Funeral Home and from 11 to service time at the church
