'Arnold William Roberts was born September 8th, 1927 in Wayne County to the late Luther O. and Winnie Denney Roberts and passed away November 3rd at the Golden Years Nursing Home, reaching the age of eighty-five years.

On June 16th, 1956 he united in marriage with Cloie Tucker Roberts, who survives, and to this union two children were born; Lorene Rigney and William and his wife Denise Roberts. He is also survived by his siblings; Ruby Ellis, Gladys South, Anna Faye Burnett, Hazel Bryant, Donald, Clayton, David, Bobby and Kay Roberts along with his five grandchildren; Billy Rigney, Lora Meredith, Alesia Brake, Scott and Tyler Roberts and his seven great grandchildren; Jacob Meredith, Elizabeth Meredith, Miranda Meredith, Madison Rigney, Will, Amelia and Avery Roberts.

Arnold is preceded in death by his infant brother Herbert, and his other siblings; Tonnie Luttrell, Betty Perry, Raymond and Charlie Roberts.

Arnold had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Lick Creek Baptist Church.

He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends that loved him so much.
