Arnold Williamson of Monticello, Kentucky was born September 5th, 1940 and departed this life Sunday, June 25th, 2023 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Clyde and Violet Haynes Williamson and husband of Desda Rose Williamson.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Melissa Lawson and Tammy Rigney, one son; Jeffery Williamson, three sisters; Sue (Lee) Turner, Carol (Gary) Irwin, and Elizabeth (Charles) Landrum, one brother; Ronald (Sandy) Williamson, five grandchildren; Staci (Cody) Phillips, Natosha (Caleb) McKee-Williamson, Felicia Eller, Levi (Ashley) Eller, Tyler Lawson, and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his infant son; Kenny Lee Williamson, one daughter; Drunetta Eller, and one sister; Joyce Hunt.

Arnold had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Newtown Baptist. He enjoyed camping and boating and loved spending time with his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29th from 11AM until 1PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 1:00PM. Burial will be in the Kidd Rose Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Memorial Plan or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
