'Barbara Mabel Richardson Bridgeman was born May 19, 1942 in the Parnell Community of Wayne County. She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Cretia Richardson. She departed this life Wednesday evening at Somerset Lake Cumberland Hospital reaching the age of 75 years.

She was united in marriage with her husband of 55 years, Billy Bridgeman. To this union three children survive: Phyllis Arlene and her husband Jack Sells, Patty Jane and husband Charles Eugene Phipps, and Barbara Diana and husband Scott Whittenburg.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Cassie Haynes, Erica Taormina, Blake Phipps, Leah Phipps, and Eric Whittenburg. Four great grandchildren: Aaron Haynes, Ryan Haynes, Rylee Taormina, and Sarah Haynes.

Barbara had a huge family with eleven brothers and sisters. Surviving are: Reed Richardson, Esteleen Cooper, Emily Southwood, and Ina Frost.

She is proceeded in death by: Stanley Richardson, Romer Richardson, Virgil Richardson, Lonnie Richardson, Roland Richardson, Lucille White, and June Barton.

Barbara had accepted Christ as her savior years ago and is a current member of the Fall Creek Baptist Church.
