'Barney Tom Denney, age 59 was born in Wayne County the son of the late Tome Ray Denney and Anna Mae Holt Denney who survives. He departed this life, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Wayne County Hospital.
On August 2, 1974 he united in marriage with his wife of 41 years, Sharon Rose Gregory Denney. Surviving are his children: Melissa Woodcock and her husband Tom, Chris Denney and John Denney. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Zeth, Lauren and Hunter Denney.
He is preceded in death by his father and his sister: Wanda Ann Denney.
Barney, was farmer, a sportsman and a Christian, he had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church.
