'Beatrice McGinnis Dishman, was born May 12, 1929 the daughter of the late Earnest "Cap" and Nona Lowe McGinnis. She departed this life, Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Golden Years Nursing Home, reaching an age of 88 years.
On March 7, 1947 she united in marriage with Ray Ernest Dishman who passed away June 13, 2016. Surviving are by her sons: Dan, Frank, Menvil and David Dishman and siblings: Ivory DiPiero, Bonnetta Bertram, Mary Guffey, Kathy McGinnis, Robert, James, and Jack McGinnis.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Allison Dalton, Amy New, Robin Dishman, Shannon Dishman, Scott and Jamie Gregory, JB Powell, Sarah Bertram, Jason Dishman and Austin Dishman; 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dishman worked for many years in the sewing industry in the area and retired from Beldon Wire and Cable. As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior and was a life-long member of the Old Union Separate Baptist Church.',
