'Beecher Ward Daws was born April 15, 1937 the son of the late Robert and Grace New Daws. He departed this life Monday morning, March 20th at his home reaching an age of 79 years.

In 1990 he united in marriage with Ann Alcorn Daws, who survives. Surviving are his children: Sheila Daws, Terry and her husband Junior Lamb, Angela and husband Steve Davis, Marsha and her husband Dave Nowaki, Joseph and wife Tracy Alcorn and Jason Alcorn.

Also surviving is his sisters: Betty Tucker and Mae Dick; grandchildren: Nathan Alcorn, Shaylee Alcorn, SFC Shannon Study (Carla), Christopher Nowaki, Rachael Davis, Shay Lich, Christina Grimes, Rhiannon (Matt) Flynn, Aaron Beckert, Stephanie Rodriguez and Makayla Lamb, 29 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his brothers: Eugene and Beryl Daws.

Beecher veteran of the Army and was retired from Hostess Bakers after 22 years of service. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Steubenville Baptist Church.
