Bennie Arlan Carter of Monticello, Kentucky was born October 3, 1940, and departed this life Sunday, October 30,2022 reaching the age of 82 years. He is the son of the late Lonnie and Hattie Daniels Carter.

He is survived by one daughter; Sandy Webb, two sons; Steve Carter, Ronnie (Sherry) Carter, two sisters; Gaye Tucker, Margie Frost, three brothers; James "Red" Carter, Ronald "Cotton" Carter, Harlan Carter, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by one sister; Betty Stinson, and two brothers; Denny "Tom" Carter and Jimmy "Pug" Carter.

Bennie had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was of the Baptist Faith.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 4th from 11 AM until 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with funeral services following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Bennie Carter Memorial Fund care of Hickey Funeral Home.
