'Bertha Lee McClane, age 97 was born August 8, 1915 in the Spann Hill community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Joe and Sally New Hicks. She departed this life Sunday morning, September 30th at the Wayne County Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Herbert McClane. Her grandson: Steve Davis also precedes her in death but his wife: Diana Davis survives.

Surviving are her four children: Joanna Davis; Donald and wife Dottie McClane; James Perry \u0027JP\u0027 and his wife Ena McClane and Tresia and Art Warner.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Don Ray McClane II; Darren McClane; Stacie Mickelson; Sylvia (Bruce) Dobbs; James (Heaven) McClane; Justin McClane; Ray Allen (Brenda) Creech; Tyler Warner and sister: Juanita Roberts.

Surviving are great grandchildren: Steven (Lauren) Davis; Carl Davis; Richie (Cherish) Rednour; Jessica Rednour; Jay Creech; Allie Cotton; Toby McClane; Sarah Sleeth-McClane and James Austin McClane, and great -great grandchildren: Kirsten Davis; Maria Davis and R.J.

Bertha had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
