Obituary
'Betty Burnett Fairchild, age 76 was born in the Mt. Pisgah community of Wayne County, December 30th, 1932, the daughter of the late Matthew Reuben and Stella Smith Burnett. She departed this life Sunday evening, July 12th, 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was united in marriage with Ray Fairchild who passed away February 2, 1996.
Surviving is her twin sister, Irene Simpson of Monticello and two brothers, Guy Burnett of Muncie, Indiana and Bro. Curtis Burnett of Monticello.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews with many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Betty had accepted Christ as her Lord as a young lady and was a member of the Cooper Baptist Church for many years.
Visitation:
Tuesday evening from 5 to 9 and Wednesdsay until service time
Funeral:
1 PM Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel
Interment:
