Betty Jo Massengale of Monticello, Kentucky was born November 2, 1947, and departed this life Thursday, December 7, 2023 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the wife of the late Robert Leon Watkins and Jimmy Massengale and daughter of the late Charales and Audrey Dobbs Hardwick.

She is survived by one daughter; Deanna (Ricky) Worley, two sons; Michael (Crystal) Watkins and Gerald (Christina) Watkins, one son-in-law; Steve Abbott, one sister-in-law; Bonnie Hardwick, sixteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; Robert Leon Watkins and Jimmy Massengale, her daughter; Janet Abbott, and brother; Kenneth Hardwick.

Betty had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 10th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11th at 2PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
