'Betty Sue Sidwell Piercy was born June 23, 1945 in New Castle, Indiana the daughter of the late Claude and Agnes Troxell Sidwell. She departed this life, Wednesday evening, February 1st at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington reaching an age of 71 years.

She is survived by her husband, Arvie Piercy and four sons: Allen and wife Shirley Boils of Monticello, Troy Boils of Albany, Ronald and his wife Rhonda Boils of Fort Myers, Florida and Eddie Piercy of Monticello.

Also surviving are her sisters: Joyce Moles of Albany, Effie Swift of Indiana, Erma Clark of Florida; brothers: Claude (Chris) Sidwell Jr., Don (Patty) Sidwell of Monticello and Jimmy Sidwell of Albany; five grandchildren: Lindsey and Brandon Boils, Josh (Megan) Asberry, Dakota Boils and Madelynne Piercy and three great-grandchildren: Allie, Hagan and LeighElla Asberry.

Preceding her in death are her sisters: Minnie Sidwell, Lucy Barnett, Anna Mae Hancock and Mary Walker and five brothers: Gene, Mike, Calvin, Stanley and Bill Sidwell.
