'Betty Valree Crabtree Bell was born December 31, 1936 in Wayne County the daughter of the late Joe and Beulah Sexton Crabtree. She departed this life, Friday, July 13th at the Golden Years Nursing Home.
On October 20, 1954 she united in marriage with her husband of 57 years, Lester J. Bell who passed away, December 29, 2011. To this union three children were born; surviving is her son, Doug Bell; her daughter, Lois Chriswell and son Ralph Turner precedes her in death.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Darin and wife, Chasidy, Stuart and his wife, Donyale, Tyler and his wife, Aubree, and Shawn Turner; eight great grandchildren: Brennan, Brylee, and Braylon; Ethan and Maddy; Kimberly, Gabe, and Natalie; her daughter-in-law Brenda Turner; her siblings: Dorothy Coffey, Jean Griffin, Arnold, Robert and Joe Lewis Crabtree
She is also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Patty Bell, her son- in-law, Bobby Chriswell and her brothers: Wendell, Earl, Bill, and Mintford Crabtree.
Betty had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a member of the Missouri Hollow Baptist Church.',
