'Betty Lou Wallen was born May 18, 1934 in New Castle, Indiana the daughter of the late Hyla Hiley Wilkinson and Dorothy Lee Bales Wilkinson. She departed this life Wednesday, April 18th at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Unit in Somerset, reaching an age of 83 years.
She was united in marriage with Charles Leighton Wallen, who passed away August 6, 1992. To this union two children were born: Terry J. and her husband John Steele and Dana and his wife Mary Jean Wallen.
Also surviving is her brother: Lorenzo Wilkinson and grandchildren: Charles Leighton Wallen Jr, Ashley Wallen, John Steele Jr. and Michael Steele and great grandchildren: Jenna and Orri Mills and Lydia Steele.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship.',
