Billy Joe Hunley of Monticello, Kentucky was born November 17,1955 and departed this life Tuesday, June 20th,2023 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late Bailey and Mary Etta Daniel Hunley.

He is survived by one daughter; Shannon Hunley, three sisters; Anna Piercey, Fairy Looney, and Bessie Coffey, one brother; Mack Hunley, and four grandchildren; Donavan Hunley, Mackenzie Hunley, Dominiqie Hunley, and Shauronn Hunley.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Jewell Sexton and Verna Sexton, and two brothers; Ben Hunley and Harrison Hunley.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7th from 11AM until 2PM in the Hickey Funeral Home chapel with funeral services following at 2PM.  Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
