Billy Neal was born January 11, 1951, and departed this life Monday, February 19, 2024, reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of (the late) Fount and Della Mae (Frost) Neal.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Neal; 2 sons, Darren and Dewayne Neal; 2 daughters, Karen (Robert) Smith and Kimberly (David) Dobbs; 1 sister, Peggy Shelton; 4 brothers, Jody, David, Eddie, and Kenny Neal; 3 grandchildren, David, Katlyn, and Dalton Dobbs; and 1 great granddaughter, Paisley Mae Slavey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Leta Todd, and Rosalee Neal; and 5 brothers, Clyde, Russell, Ramey, Danny, and Willie Dean Neal.

Billy was a longtime member of the Soul Harbor Church of God.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11 AM – 2 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
