­­­­­­­­­­­­Bobby Lewis West was born October 14, 1944, in Hamilton County, Ohio, and departed this life Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Somerset, KY, reaching the age of 79 years. He was the Son of the late Jessie Frank West and Lillie (Brown) West.

He is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Standley) West; Daughter: Penny Thompson (Curtis); Sisters: Betty Buffler and Becky West; Grandchildren: Brittany Perkins (Jordan), Amanda Worley (Cody) and CJ Thompson; Great Grandchildren: Adison, Cameron, Ariah and Leighton. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Frank and Lillie West, he was preceded in death his Son: Benny Leonard West; Brothers: Bill West, Benny West and Bernie West and Sister: Bonnie McQueen.

He was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Bobby loved his family and loved spending time with them. He was an avid fisherman, musician and baseball coach. He also enjoyed taking his Mustang to car shows and the drag strip.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 11AM – 1PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held October 11, 2024, at 1PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel.
