Bonnie New Goad Rigney of Monticello, Kentucky was born March 6,1943 and departed this life Wednesday, February 15,2023, reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late George Smiley and Lonnie Carrender New and wife of the late Ray Rigney.

She is survived by three sons; Joey Goad, Ricky Goad (Fiancé Donna Troxell), David Goad Rigney (Rhonda), one sister; Ina Upchurch, one brother Kenny Bell, seven grandchildren; Brandon Goad, Jesse Goad, Travis Goad, Emily Troxell, Peggy Ridner, Nathanael Goad, Isaac Goad, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Ray, she was preceded in death by two sons; Oral Franklin Goad, Orvil Eugene Goad, one sister; Katie New, one brother; George Junior New, and one grandson; Bobby Shawn Jenkins.

Bonnie had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the South Main Mission Church.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17 ^th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18 ^th at 1PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Little Sinking Cemetery.
