'Bonnie Jean Davis Bell, age 78, was born February 2, 1933 in Wayne County the daughter of the late Rev. Local and Dorothy Goodman Davis. She departed this life, Tuesday morning at her home on Lynn Anne Court, her family by her side. On August 8th, 1953 she united in marriage with Harold Bell, her devoted husband of 57 years, who survives. She is survived by one brother, Carlos Davis who makes his home in Cliff Side, Colorado, with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends remaining to mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Steele and brothers: Ned, Donald, Billy J. and Junior Davis.Bonnie had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church. She was known for her skill in interior design and was the owner of Interiors By Bonnie Bell, formerly located on HWY 27 in Somerset.The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 1PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sam Crawford and Bro. Sammy Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 Wednesday evening and Thursday until service time.Expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
