­­­­­­­­­­­­Bravel Eugene Dobbs was born November 15, 1932, and departed this life Wednesday, September 25, 2024, reaching the age of 91 years. He was the Son of the late Henry Dobbs and Ollie (Kidd) Dobbs.

He is survived by his Children: Bruce Dobbs and Kathleen Dobbs; Grandchildren: Selena Horton (Justin), Kimberly Weymouth (Josh) and Ashley Dobbs; Great Grandchildren: Gracie Horton (Owen Morrow), Jace Horton and Eliza Weymouth. Great-Great Grandchild: Jade Morrow. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Henry and Ollie (Kidd) Dobbs, he was preceded in death by his loving wife: Kathern Lucille (Spay) Dobbs and his 2 children: Dennis Dobbs and Carol Ann Dobbs. Siblings: Ester Dobbs Franklin, Bessie Dobbs Marshall, Amos Dobbs, Dellas Dobbs, Oringia Dobbs Phelps, Clora Dobbs Enochs, Javer Dobbs and Estil Dobbs

He was a loving, Father, Brother, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Bravel was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed chewing his tobacco, hunting and being in the outdoors as well.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 11 AM – 2 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 2 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dobbs Cemetery.
