Brenda K. Carter was born October 24 ^th , 1957 and departed this life Tuesday, November 23 ^rd reaching the age of 64 years. She was the daughter of the late Willie "Bill" and Nannie Hicks Pyles.

She is survived by her husband; Boyce Carter, one son; Michael Stinson, three daughters; Shannon (Clint) Stinson, Misty (Casey) Conatser, Sara (Joshua) Guffey, five brothers; Ken (Illa Jane) Pyles, Dee (Leta) Pyles, Clyde (Darlene) Pyles, Roger (Jan) Pyles, Gary (Teresa) Pyles, five sisters; Pearl Dishman, Jewell (Barry) McGinnis, Judy (Dennis) Stinson, Mary (Arnold) McGinnis, Lisa (Paul) McGinnis, one sister-in-law; Lucy Pyles, one brother-in- law; Dave Rednour, eight grandchildren; Torey Sparks, Heather Bertram, Payton Bertram, Reagan Bertram, Jace Conatser, Adalyn Guffey, Hadley Conatser, and Jeadon Conatser, and two great grandchildren; Madilyn McDonald and Opal McDonald.

She is preceded in death by one brother; Hershel Pyles, one sister; Ruby Rednour, and one infant sister; Linda Mae Pyles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 26th from 5PM until 8PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27 ^th at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hicks cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy will take the form of donations to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
