Brenda Sue Criswell Upchurch was born March 5, 1953 and departed this life Monday, December 28, 2020 reaching the age of 67 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Gilbert Lloyd and Cecil Elna (Eaton) Criswell.

She is survived by: 1 son, Michael (Carla) Upchurch; 4 grandchildren, Cory & Cole Upchurch, Kenton Cox and Kayla Grider; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Josie Perkins and Ollie Campbell; and 3 brothers, Dewey, Dillard and Bobby Criswell.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 1, 2021 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 1, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
