'Bro. Lucius Comer -L.C.- Meadows age 85, was born in June 13, 1925, in Ralles, Texas, the son of the late C.L. and Lillie Cannon Meadows. He departed his life, Thursday morning in Cynthiana after an extended illness.

Bro. Meadows was united in marriage with Joanne Marie Kuenkler Meadows who passed away March 13, 2008. Surviving are their two children; Michelle (Reggie) Pedigo of Monticello and Michael Meadows of Somerset.

Also surviving is his sister, Anna Belle Worley of Texas: three grandchildren, Kristi Landreth, Joni Meadows and Lucas Pedigo and a great granddaughter, Kinley Dodd. His brother, Paul Meadows precedes him in death.

Bro. Meadows was a veteran of the Second World War and served his country with honor in the Philippines. He served his Lord with honor serving as Pastor of churches in Crossville, TN; Fayetteville, TN; Knoxville, TN and retired from Monticello First Baptist Church in Monticello. After retirement he continued to serve as interim pastor in churches in Monticello and Burkesville.
