'Bro. William Lloyd "Bill" Dick was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, August 30, 1944 the son of the late William Lloyd Dick Sr and the late Marjorie Marie Davenport Dick. He departed this life Thursday morning November 29th, at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Unit in Somerset reaching an age of 74 years.
He was united in marriage with Brenda Lee New Dick who passed away April 14, 2007. To this union two daughter survive: Denise Hicks and Suzette Marie Whelan both of the Covington area.
In 2007 he united in marriage with his surviving spouse, Lynn Morrow who survives.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: John Thomas and Matthew Waylon and Heather, Cody and Joseph Hicks.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Donald Dick and is survived by his two nephews, Jerry and Donald Dick.
Bill was retired from Wayne Auto Parts. He also lived and worked on the family farm at Fall Creek. As a young many Bill accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. He surrendered to the ministry and pastored the Missouri Hollow Baptist Church and later the New Town Baptist Church where he served form many years. Later in life he pastored the Buncombe Baptist Church in Pulaski County. He was also on the teaching staff of Cumberland Baptist Institute until his health would not allow.',
