­­­­­­­­­­­Bruce Abbott was born April 19, 1956, and departed this walk of life Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at his home, reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Oscar Abbott and Evelyn (Dishman) Abbott.

He is survived by daughter: Amy Tucker; Sons: Billy and Ben Abbott; Brother: Huey Abbott; Sister: Margie Crabtree and Grandchildren: Robert Stringer and Elizabeth Abbott. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Bruce was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 42 years: Jan Louise Abbott and Brothers: Randall, Barton, Leonard, Donnie and Cletus Abbott.

He was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Elk Spring Cemetery with Bishop Cornelius Duncan and Pastor Maggie Anna Duncan from Jesus Christ Chapel officiating.
