Carol Coffey was born September 21, 1966, and departed this life Wednesday, October 12, 2022, reaching the age of 56 years. She was the daughter of (the late) William Robert Tharp II and Ruth Evelyn (Holland) Tharp.

She married George Coffey and to this union, 4 children were born.

She is survived by her husband, George Coffey; 4 children, Adrienne, Adam, Andrew, and Alizabeth; 1 grandson, Kaiven; 1 sister, Susan Lococo (Tony); along with a host of family, friends, and the many others who called her Momma Carol.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, William Michael Tharp.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16 from 5 PM until 8 PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Carol Coffey Memorial Fund, c/o Hickey Funeral Home
