Carol J Blevins McCutchen, age 81, was born in Monticello, Ky on July 25, 1943, to the late Henry Blevins and Frona (Elam) Blevins. She departed this life Sunday, January 5, 2025.
On December 9, 1961, she married David L. McCutchen.
She is survived by her Son: David Mark McCutchen and step-son Steve McCutchen (Karen). 3 step-grandchildren and 6 Step-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her sister: Glena Burks (Randall); Niece: Sonja Jones (Roger), great-niece Lindsey Brewster (Dylan) and special sister-in-law Lytha Hughes. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents Henry and Frona, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. McCutchen.
Carol was saved at New Salem Baptist Church. She was a member of Steubenville Baptist Church, and she centered her whole life around church. Her calling was WMU Missions and all the various branches of WMU. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Condolences may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Lotte Moon Christmas Offering for Foreign Mission.
The family will receive friends for a Grave Side service on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the pavilion in Elk Spring Cemetery, burial to follow.
