Carolyn Sharlene Sexton, age 57, of Monticello passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on December 22, 1962 in Monticello, KY to the late, Tom and Eliza (Gregory) Troxell.

She is survived by: her husband Rickey Sexton; 2 daughters, Sara-Beth Cooper and Hannah Maria Dishman; 4 Brothers, Carl Ray, Danny Clay, Bobby Joe and Mark Wayne Troxell; 1 sister, Shirley Marie Boils; 2 grandchildren, Leo Abram and Grant Alan Cooper; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Kathy Lorene Chriswell and (infant) PollyAnna Troxell.

The family will receive friends on, Monday, October 12, 2020 from 5 PM until 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Charity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Monticello Baptist Tabernacle Building Fund and Gideons Memorial Bible Plan.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
