­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Carolyn Slaven was born January 31, 1961, and departed this life, Thursday, June 13, 2024, reaching the age of 63 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Print Slaven and Lily Dishman-Slaven.

She is survived by; 2 Sisters; Linda Coomer and Bonnie McGinnis; 2 Nephews Jonathan Coomer and Chris McGinnis; 1 Great-Niece, Lindsey Coomer and 1 Great-Nephew, Matthew Coomer. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was a loving Sister, Aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 5PM – 8PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 12:30 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
