'Cecil Raymond Dick was born October 1st, 1923 in Wayne County to the late Isaac and Ottie Morrow Dick and passed away Monday evening at the Golden Years Nursing Home reaching the age of ninety years.

On October 8th, 1948 he united in marriage with Beulah Roberts Dick, whom passed away on June 20th, 2004, and to this union five children survive; Martha and her husband Jimmy Ballou, Paul and his wife Maxine, David and his wife Georgia, Phillip and his wife Mollie and Tim and his wife Tina Dick, along with his five siblings; Bernice and Wilma Dick, Mary Daniel, Floyd and Lawrence Dick. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughter; Janie Dick, whom passed away on October 7th, 1975, and his siblings; Zollie Dick, Dorothy Roberts, Lloyd and Ellis Dick.

He served his country in the United States Navy in World War II, serving from December 3rd, 1943 and being honorably discharged on March 21st, 1946.

Cecil had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and faithfully served as Deacon at the Big Sinking Baptist Church.
