Obituary
'Cecil Henry Tucker age 90 was born in the Lower Turkey Creek community of Wayne County, August 23, 1919 the son of the late Alex and Alice Clark Tucker. He departed this life Monday morning, December 1st , after an extended illness.
On August 2, 1948 he united in marriage with Alta Hazel Martin Tucker who passed away January 12, 1997. To this union two children survive; Sheila Faye and her husband Pleaz Phillips and Willis Ray Tucker. His daughter Rosa Lee Tucker passed away in January of 2007.
Also surviving are three granddaughters, Regina, Tonya and Angela and four great grandchildren, Mariah, Dustin Andrew and Chandler; his sister Elva Roberts and brother, Heston Tucker with many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by his siblings; Maude Jackson, Martha Jones, Montie Cos, Mary Hall, Marie Denney, Ruby Martin and Estill Tucker.
Cecil had accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of the First Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
