­­­­­­­­­­Chad Guffey was born May 23, 1981, and departed this walk of life Saturday, June 6, 2026, reaching the age of 45 years. He was the son of Dennis Guffey, the late Peggy Lou (Floyd) Guffey.

He is survived by his father: Dennis Guffey; Sons: Kobe Brumley and Nathan Guffey; Daughter: McKenzie Guffey; Brother: Kyle Guffey (Brooke); Grandchild: Koa James Brumley and Nephews and Niece: Kyler, Zack and Zoe Guffey. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn his passing

He was preceded in death by his mother: Peggy Lou (Floyd) Guffey.

He was a loving father, brother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the chapel of Hickey Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Old Bethel Church Cemetery in Alpha.
