Obituary
'Chloie Marie Foster, age 88, was born in Whitley City, Ky. July 30, 1920 the daughter of the late Edward and Sena Phillips. She departed this life Saturday morning at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She united in marriage with the late Raymond Foster on October 15, 1941 and to this union of forty six years seven children survive, Edna Tucker, Ethel Modglin, Carolyn Branscum, Harold, Carl, Boyd and Hayden Foster. She is preceded in death by her son Elmer Foster, her sisters Flona Yates and Flonnie Phillips and her brothers Herstle, Porter, Arnold and Obie Phillips and two grandchildren, Fransie Foster and Karen Branscum.
Also surviving are her fifteen grandchildren and her twenty-one great grandchildren.
Chloie accepted Christ as her Savior in 1941 and remained a member of the Freedom United Baptist Church until her passing.
She will be very sadly missed by her family and all of her friends.
The funeral service was held Tuesday morning in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leamon Branscum and Bro. Fairrell Morrow officiating. Burial was in the Foster cemetery.
