'Christine Coffey Chriswell, age 76 was born in Wayne County, October 22, 1932 the daughter of the late Oscar and Lizzie Mae Keeton Coffey. She passed away suddenly, Saturday morning, May 30th at her home in the Cooper community.
On August 14, 1950 she united in marriage with Sam Chriswell, her husband of 58 years. To this union three children were born, Mary Lois Roberts, William Chriswell Junior and Bobby Lee Chriswell. Surviving are her nieces and nephews that found a place in her home, Susette Powers, Lewis Alvin, Sammy and Steven Coffey.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Katina Shearer, Kelly Sue Goff, Kalisa and Kasey Chriswell, Darin, Stuart and Tyler Chriswell, Chris and Eli Roberts and Twelve great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her sisters, Geneva Baker, Elneda Craig, Sue Stockton and brothers, Raymond and Billy Coffey with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Her brothers, Elwood and Edward Kay Coffey precedes her in death.
Christine was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star where she actively worked in her local Chapter #526 and served as Past Worthy Matron, District Deputy Grand Matron and Grand Representative to Texas. She had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Monday from 5 to 9 and Tuesday until service time
