Christopher Wayne Vaughn of the Griffin Community of Wayne County, Kentucky was born September 18,1983 and departed this life May 27,2023 at the age of 39 years.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Vaughn of Griffin, aunts; Betty Anderson of Griffin and Joyce Sells of Crossville, Tennessee, cousins; Stuart (Angie) Hale, John Hale, and Cody (Haley) Hale all of Crossville, Tennessee, as well as a host of friends and relatives to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Nina and Guy Coffey, uncles; Stevie Allen Coffey, Tommy Coffey, John Thomas Coffey, and cousin; Angela Anderson.

He had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the Elk Ridge Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 3rd from 11AM until 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 1PM with Bro. Denzil Jones and Bro. Brent Jones officiating in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
