Obituary
'Clarence -better known as Junior- Rose, age 73 was born July 24th, 1934 the son of the late Clarence Rose Sr. and Amelia Morrow Rose Keith. He departed this life Monday January 28, 2008afternoon at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
On December 24th, 1982 he was united in marriage with Mary Lisa Foley Rose, who survives. Surviving are two children, Bro. Kenneth Dale and his wife Millie Rose of Monticello and Lana and her husband Jay Brainard of Somerset. An infant son, Allen precedes him in death.
Also surviving are two brothers, Winfred Keith and Samuel Keith both of Monticello; seven grandchildren Jeremiah, Derek and Haley Rose, Jacilyn, Spencer, Maxwell and Giddeon Brainard and a great granddaughter, Abigail Rose.
Junior worked in the community with several business ventures, involving the lumber, grocery and shoe industry. He had accepted Christ as his savior as a young man and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
