Obituary
'Claude Thomas Joe Criswell, age 57 was born in Wayne County, August 12, 1949 the son of the late Nimrod and Martha Marcum Criswell. He departed this life, Friday evening, July 27th at the Wayne County Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Mae Rigney Criswell who passed away March 26th, 1992. Surviving is his companion, Lillie Shelton of Monticello.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Mosley of Coosada, Alabama, his step-daughter, Kathie Ward of Michigan; Grandson, Melvin Douglas Turbeville; four step grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Watson and Faye Gray and his brother, Donnie Ray Criswell; with many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Turbeville and a grandchild Chase W. Turbeville; Sisters, Betty Watson, Alice Stoker, Bonnie Criswell; Brothers, Clyde, Johnnie, Kenneth, Sterlie, Arthur, Nimrod and Samuel.
