Clyde Ray Bridgeman was born January 13, 1937 and departed this life Saturday, July 18, 2020 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Gail and Opal (Burgess) Bridgeman.

He married Della Marylene Strunk and to this union one child were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Marylene Bridgeman; one daughter, Shyla Bridgeman; one granddaughter, Laura (Jason) Prince; two great grandsons, Austin (LaRay) Prince and Ethan Prince.  He is also survived by: two sisters, Anna (Harold) Massey and Gayla (Jerry) Peavie; and one brother, John Kay (Kathy) Bridgeman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Gail and Opal Bridgeman, he was preceded in death by: one sister, Lytha Breeding.

Clyde served in the Army National Guard for 4 years.  He was a member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church and was a member of the Monticello Masonic Lodge.  And owned and operated the Pool Hall for 13 years.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  Hospice of Lake Cumberland

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
