Corrine Short­ was born October 11, 1930, and departed this walk of life Saturday, March 14, 2026, reaching the age of 95 years. She was the daughter of the late Christopher and Rosie (Lumpkins) Arvin.

She is survived by her Son: James (Terri) Short; Brother: Turner JR (Mava) Arvin; Sister: Brenda Casey; Grandchildren: Alicia Figliola, Gena Huxtable & Matt Short; 4 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing

In addition to her parents: Christopher and Rosie Arvin; she was preceded in death by her husband: John H Short, along with 9 Brothers and 3 Sisters:

She was a loving wife, mother daughter and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Respecting the wishes of the family, there will be no public service.
