­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Creola Barnette was born July 1, 1940, and departed this life Saturday, July 13, 2024, reaching the age of 84 years. She was the Daughter of the late Dibrel Neal and Ina Lester (Neal).

She is survived by her 2 Sons; Dwight Sexton (Pamela) and Dewayne Sexton, 1 Daughter Annette Norfleet (Harold), 6 Grandchildren; Robert Sexton, Morgan Bischof, Eddie Norfleet, Amy Edwards, Laura Nicole Prince and Jade Sexton and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents Dibrel and Ina Neal, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Robert E Sexton, her second husband; George Barnette; 2 Brothers; Delmar and Dean Neal and 1 Sister Naomi Pierce.

She was a loving, Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 10 AM – 11 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11 AM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
