Dana Leaighton Wallen was born September 28, 1955 and departed this life Friday, November 20, 2020 reaching the age of 65 years. He was the son of (the late) Charles Leaighton and Betty Lou (Wilkinson) Wallen.

He is survived by: the love of his life, Mary Jean Wallen; daughter, Ashley Danielle (Joseph Boisvert) Wallen; son, Charles Leaighton Wallen; sister, Terry Jo (John) Steele; sister-in-law, Gayle (Tony) Brown; brother-in-law, Harry Smith; 2 grandchildren, Jenna Alexandria Louise and Bridget Orrianna Oleta Mills; 1 special grand-child, Jadance Marie Zimmerman; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Alexander Chapel Cemetery in Bronston.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. As the number of attendees is limited to 25 people only, a list will be provided to the funeral home by the family.  You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
