'Danie Lucille Rogers Eads was born January 9, 1929 in the Barrier community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Othal D. and Dovie Barrier Rogers. She departed this life Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in the Lake Cumberland regional Hospital, reaching an age of 85 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Milton Eads; her son, David Eads; and sisters: Alice Vanhook and Imadene Tatum.

Surviving is her son: Steven Eads of Somerset, her grandson: Brian and Lydia Eads and great grandchildren: Kristen, Tyler, Abigale and Olivia. Also surviving are her brothers: Wayland Rogers, O.D. and his wife Doris Rogers and Congressman Harold Rogers and wife, Cynthia.

As a young lady she had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Monticello.
