­­­­­­­­­­Danny Kay Sexton was born in Monticello, KY, November 6, 1954, and departed this walk of life Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home, reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Sam Sexton and Vieanna (Troxell) Sexton.

He is survived by his wife Jewell Sexton; daughter: Tabitha Dishman (Daniel); Stepdaughter: Jacqueline Humble (Shane); Grandchildren: Austin Coffey, Arieana Dishman, Braxton Coffey, Sydney Humble; Great Grandchildren: Jackson Coffey and Luna Faye Coffey; Brother: Thomas Sexton; Sisters: Linda Hancock and Brenda Gregory. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Sam Sexton and Vieanna Troxell Sexton; he was preceded in death by his sisters: Wanda Anderson and Barbara Bell.

Danny loved the Lord; He loved his family and truck driving. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11 AM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
